Everyone knows vaccines are no guarantee that you won't catch the virus. If the numbers of hospitalisations are correct, it shows that the overwhelming majority of vaxxed people that are catching it, are NOT ending up in hospital. Therefore, the vaccine appears to be doing its job of reducing symptoms and potential complications, which may be the difference between life and death for many people.

I personally don't care if someone doesn't want to get vaxxed, it's their body after all. For some people, their individual rights outweigh their community responsibility.

You asked the question, why are there as many vaxxed in hospital as there are unvaxxed? Rivergang answered that question for you and explained that, in fact, with a country like Australia, with a vaccination rate of 95%, the remaining 5% unvaxxed make up half of the hospitalisations.

This means that unvaxxed people are grossly over-represented in hospitalisations and proves that the vaccine is doing its job.

But, of course, in your next post, you ask the same question again and query if the vaccine is working.

To put it another way, if the vaccine wasn't doing its job right now, almost every single person in hospital would be vaxxed. These figures might change over time as the pandemic evolves, not because the vaccines arent working, but because the only people left to get sick are the vaccinated. If vaccinated people were going to hospital at the same rate as unvaxxed, according to my maths, you would have 19 times more people in hospital right now.

The articles may be recent, but they are presenting historical data from decades before covid.That tells me you didn't even read them properly .

You say the onus is on me to prove causation. Sorry, no, it is on you because you are the one adamantly making the claim that recent deaths of athletes are linked to the vaccine. Well, prove it, have you read the autopsy reports? That's how it usually works when you make a claim, you need evidence.

Just because someone brought something to your attention that you were previously unaware of, athletes dying from heart related issues, and then linked it to the covid vaccine, doesn't mean that the vaccine was to blame. As the data shows, it's always been a risk, long before covid.

This has been going on forever, long before covid,mainly due to undiagnosed heart issues like myocarditis and other problems. Just because you havent seen someone drop dead on your TV, doesnt mean it isnt real.

Im sure you have heard the term,'correlation is not causation'.

Since 2000, in Australia, about 1 person has died every week playing organised sport. Guess what the leading cause of death is? Cardiac arrest. Just like now.

Ive seen other posts like yours with claims of sports deaths related to the covid vaccine. As soon as you start drilling into the figures, there is no proof of anything to do with covid. Some of these lists even include heat-stroke and suicide, just to pad out the numbers no doubt.

If you are concerned about the body over-reacting, maybe take a few moments to read a bit about cytokine storms.

This is what happens when your body overreacts to an invading virus and creates too many antibodies. It is especially dangerous in respiratory illnesses as it fills a person's lungs with fluid, causing the person's own immune system to drown them.

This is how people died during the Spanish flu.

For everyone saying, 'I trust my immune system to beat covid', yes, it might, but there is also a chance it won't cope.

When you were spending years at medical school, and then years studying immunology, did you discover that your statement applies to all vaccines, or simply the covid vaccine?

It's just that you seem pretty sure about what you are claiming.

Because you are obviously a world expert, why are so many of us alive that had chicken pox, measles, mumps etc, and then, had booster shots later in life even though according to you, we no doubt had natural immunity? I don't remember my immune system going into overdrive and don't remember developing pericarditis or anything else. Maybe I was one of the lucky ones.

Care to explain?
